I am pleased to welcome you to the 2018 – 2019 school year! There will be a lot of learning happening this year! Science is a challenging but fun class. I believe that the students in my classroom have a job just like I do! Their job is to learn, think, question, and make mistakes. My goal is to foster a love for learning in all students. I also focus on tying real-life situations into the classroom, so I like to provide the students with sufficient time for hands-on activities.
I look forward to working with you and your child this year. I am excited by the anticipation of the countless milestones we will reach as class and those your child will reach as an individual. You can expect your child to learn about topics such as matter and energy, Earth and space, organisms and their environments, and learn how to conduct scientific investigations using critical thinking skills. In class, we will be performing experiments, working individually and in groups, researching, writing papers, and so many more activities.
If you have any questions or concerns or if you would like to vist our classroom, schedule a conference, or volunteer to help out, you can contact me at 903-562-1355 or e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org
I am looking forward to having a wonderful school year with both you and your child!
